Fees are quoted in EUR. These prices are final. VAT will be applied under current legislation.

Note: Payments must be received by the corresponding deadlines (early or regular), otherwise the subsequent rate will be automatically applied.

The IN-PERSON registration fee includes:

  • Conference materials
  • Admission to the exhibition
  • Admission to the scientific programme
  • Access to on-line platform – exhibition/scientific programme
  • Welcome reception
  • Conference dinner
  • Coffee breaks

The REMOTE registration fee includes:

  • Access to on-line platform – exhibition/scientific programme

HOW TO REGISTER

To register for the Congress, please fill in the on-line Registration Form.

First fill in the Personal Data Form and continue with registration by choosing the registration fee. During the registration process, you will receive a password. Your password is the same for all on-line forms (registration, accommodation).

For group registration (more than 10 participants), please contact the Congress Secretariat at interspeech2021secretariat@guarant.cz.

METHODS OF PAYMENT

Registration fees must be paid in EUR by one of the following methods:

1. Credit or Debit Card

For credit or debit card payments, please use the On-line Payment System. The system is accessible with the password that you received upon registration. The system accepts the following credit/debit cards: MasterCard/Eurocard, Visa and Diners Club.

2. Bank Transfer

The bank details including the 10-digit variable symbol will be automatically sent to your email address after submitting the on-line form. Please note that payments without this variable symbol will not be identified and the registration will not be confirmed.

Please note that bank transfer payments will be accepted by 9 August 2021 only. After this date, only payments by credit/debit cards will be accepted using the On-line Payment System.

All bank transfer amounts should be minus bank charges. Any banking fees accrued from the transfer is the responsibility of each party.

FINAL INVOICE

The final invoice will be sent automatically to your e-mail address within 14 days from the receipt of the payment.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

The Congress Secretariat must be notified in writing by e-mail at interspeech2021secretariat@guarant.cz in the event of the cancellation of the registration. Cancellation by phone call will not be accepted. The appropriate refunds will be made after the Congress.

General cancellation conditions for remote/in-person registrations

Conditions for Exchange In-person to Remote
Until 20 June 2021 full refund of difference between in-person registration fee and remote registration fee, 30 EUR handling fee will be charged
From 21 June 2021 no refund, access to virtual platform still will be provided
Conditions for Exchange Remote to In-person
At any time (might be limited, always contact secretariat) no penalty, only surcharge to in-person registration fee

NAME CHANGE

If you wish to avoid a cancellation fee, we offer you the possibility to make a name change instead. A handling fee of 30 EUR will be charged for each name change. Request for a name change should be reported in writing to the Congress Secretariat at interspeech2021secretariat@guarant.cz.

In case of any change in registration, GUARANT International reserves the right to charge a 30 EUR handling fee.

In case of cancellation of the event due to force majeure, GUARANT International reserves the right to charge a 30 EUR handling fee.

In the unfortunate case of having too few participants able/willing to come to Brno, organizers would have to “pull the emergency brake” and switch Interspeech 2021 to fully virtual.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

Invitation letters for visa purposes can only be sent to participants who have completed the registration process. Further information regarding visa requirements can be found here.

COVID-19 Travel Policy

Please follow the current rules for entering the Czech Republic and other related countries. A COVID-19 test and other travel rules may be required.

Before purchasing your air-ticket, we recommend getting a travel insurance that covers at least some COVID-19 risks (e,g, when you have to cancel your trip due to COVID-19 illness or when you are denied to board the plane due to not passing the COVID-19 check).
