Paper Submission

The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 26, 2021, 23:59, Anywhere on Earth. This deadline is valid both for regular papers and for papers submitted to special sessions & challenges. Updates of submitted papers will be accepted until Friday, April 2, 2021, 23:59, Anywhere on Earth. Only updates to the pdf and media files, the title, the abstract, and the LREC resources will be permitted, updates to the authors and topics cannot be made. Make sure that your paper complies to the Author Instructions and Paper Submission Policies. Paper review is NOT double blind.

For paper submission, you will leave the INTERSPEECH 2021 website and be redirected to the START V2 system. If you already have a START V2 account, you can login with the credentials you used last time. If you do not have a START account, you can register one. If you have forgotten your password, there is a password reset tool there. Once you are logged in, navigate to User Console → Submission(s) → Make a new Submission, and follow the instructions to submit your paper.

While you still are logged in, please verify that your global user information in the START V2 system is up to date. Go to User Console → Account Information → Global Profile and update your basic information there. The Affiliations – Past and Present at the bottom of the page is used for determining conflicts of interest (between papers and reviewers) based on common institutional affiliations. Please enter the email domains of your past and present affiliations here!

Warning

We have noticed that the submission confirmation messages sent to some authors are being refused by their institution's e-mail servers. We encountered this problem especially with some Chinese institutions. If you do not receive a confirmation message within 15 minutes of submission, please first check your spam and if you do not find it there, you can log in to the START system and find your paper(s)s under the User console - Your current Submission(s).

If you are able to, please ask your sysadmin to white-list the Softconf email server IP=13.58.185.1 in order to eliminate the problem. If it is not possible to white list the IP address, please make sure to log in to the START system to check for the notification of acceptance/rejection at the given date.
